Last night we went to bed at 10:30, which never happens. I wanted to fall asleep early so there was a chance I would wake up at 6 a.m. to work out.
A few hours later, I woke up excitedly and asked a fast-asleep Brad if it was too late for us to go work out. He (half-asleep) looked at his cell phone and told me it was only 2 a.m. Yes! I love when that happens. More sleep.
Flash forward to 5:30 a.m. Brad has just awoken from a crazy dream. In the dream, he is on a motorcycle. Dollar bills are falling from the sky so he catches them. Then a fleet of policemen start chasing him for grabbing the money. So he does what he has to do to get away -- takes off his clothes to become invisible. (Just in the dream.)But he doesn't stop there. He gets to Lake Alatoona (in Georgia), runs with the money in hand and dives into the lake. Unfortunately, the policemen can still see the money so his hiding spot is given away. Brad wakes up from his terrifying dream.
Meanwhile, I'm having a dream about "Indiana Jones" who looks, talks, and acts suspiciously like James Bond. He was in an old house being held captive by a villain. The bad guy gave him a choice. He could a.) stay there, or b.) take a 20 second head start and leave in the bad guy's Mercedes Benz. So "Indiana" chose the second half of the deal, only to find out that the villain ran at lighting speed. I realized this right away, and just as Brad was waking up from his dream, I yelled "But that's not fair!"
Brad started laughing his head off so I woke up. We had a good laugh and shared our crazy dreams with each other. We opted to go back to bed to savor our last 20 minutes before waking up to work out. It didn't end up happening anyway. We slept all the way until 7:40. But at least it was a fun night!
